Chefredakteur und Geschäftsführer von „Business Insider Deutschland“

Romanus Otte verantwortete nach Stationen bei der „Deutschen Presse-Agentur“ (dpa) und der „Financial Times Deutschland“ mehrere Jahre als General Manager die Digitalisierung der „WELT“. Zuvor gehörte der gelernte Journalist fünf Jahre der Chefredaktion der „WELT-Gruppe“ an. Nach einem Aufenthalt im Silicon Valley leitete er ab 2016 das „Axel Springer Global Network“-Projekt , um Wissen und Kreativität der vielfältigen Unternehmen bei Axel Springer besser zu nutzen. Seit Mai dieses Jahres ist er Chefredakteur und Geschäftsführer von „Business Insider Deutschland“.

Romanus Otte has held positions at the German Press Agency (dpa) and the Financial Times Germany, where he was responsible as general manager for the digitisation of WELT for several years. Prior to this, the trained journalist spent five years as editor-in-chief of the WELT Group. After a stay in Silicon Valley, he headed the Axel Springer Global Network project from 2016 on to better utilize the knowledge and creativity of the diverse companies at Axel Springer. Since May 2019, he has been editor-in-chief and managing director of Business Insider Germany.
